Seamus McNally is a New York/Berlin- based filmmaker, working as a professional acting coach and teacher for over twenty years. He coaches actors privately, and consults directors internationally for a wide array of film and television productions.

Recent projects include: Roots, Vinyl (M. Scorsese), Orange is the New Black, The Night Of, Too Old To Die Young (N. W. Refn), Black Mirror, Clarice, Star Trek – Strange New Worlds.

As a filmmaker, Seamus has directed numerous narrative short films including: To Paint the Portrait of a Bird, The Hypnotist, Sketches of Honey, Good Old Days, Exchange Place, and an excerpt from Mike Leigh's Ecstasy to name a few. His films have premiered at Cannes, Montreal, Woodstock, Mill Valley, and won Best Short Film at the final NY/Avignon Film Festival. Throughout the past several years he has been developing a diverse portfolio of projects for feature film and television. Seamus and Trine Piil recently co-directed the feature film Intet (Nothing), based on the classic young adult novel of the same title by Janne Teller. Nominated by the Danish Film Academy for Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Youth Film.
